01 — Technology
What is ADS-L?
Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Light
- An ADS-B-like system for UAVs and manned aircraft.
- High data rate (up to 100 kbps).
- Very low power transmission (25 mW / 500 mW).
- Uses the licence-exempt SRD860 radio band.
- Suitable for high-density drone operations.
- Data packet using the iConspicuity payload format.
- iConspicuity complies with AMC1 SERA.6005(c), adopted by EASA ED Decision 2022/024/R.
- Accepted means of electronic conspicuity in U-space airspace in Europe.

No Cookies and No Tracking
This website is purely informational. It does not use cookies or any similar tracking technology (such as web beacons, pixels, local storage for tracking purposes, fingerprinting or analytics scripts), does not include contact forms, and does not employ third-party advertising services. It does not load any third-party resources either: fonts, scripts, images and documents are all served from our own hosting. Apart from the technical server logs described below, no personal data is collected by the mere act of browsing this site, and no user profiles are created.
Server Logs (Hosting)
This website is hosted by STRATO, with servers in Germany (European Union), which acts as data processor on behalf of Novamedia Sistemas. As with any web server, each visit automatically generates technical log files containing the IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested and the type of browser and operating system. These logs are used solely to ensure the security, stability and proper functioning of the website, on the basis of Novamedia Sistemas' legitimate interest in keeping it secure and operational (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). They are kept for a maximum of six weeks and then automatically deleted, and they are not used to identify visitors or to create profiles.
Voluntary Communications
If you choose to contact Novamedia Sistemas via the email address provided, any personal data you share (such as your name, email address, or the content of your message) will be processed in order to respond to your enquiry, to manage the commercial or contractual relationship that may arise from it, and to comply with the legal obligations applicable to Novamedia Sistemas.
The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of attending to communications initiated by the user (Art. 6.1.f GDPR), the application of pre-contractual or contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR), and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c GDPR). Providing your data is voluntary; however, without the data needed to reply to you, we will not be able to handle your enquiry.
Data Retention
Data from enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship will be kept only for as long as necessary to handle them, and deleted within twelve months at most. Where a commercial or contractual relationship arises, data will be kept for its duration and, thereafter, blocked for the periods required by law: six years for accounting and commercial records (Article 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code) and four years for tax purposes (Spanish General Taxation Law 58/2003). Server logs are kept for a maximum of six weeks. Once those periods have elapsed, the data will be securely deleted.
Recipients and International Transfers
Your personal data will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law. Where Novamedia Sistemas engages service providers acting as data processors, they are bound by a contract guaranteeing GDPR-compliant processing. In particular, STRATO (Germany, European Union) provides the hosting of this website and of our email service. Both are hosted on servers located in the European Union, so no international transfers of personal data take place outside the European Economic Area. Should any such transfer take place in the future, it would only be carried out with the appropriate safeguards required by Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR.

This website contains links to third-party websites (e.g. clients, regulatory authorities). Novamedia Sistemas is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data. You may exercise these rights free of charge by contacting us at info@novamedia.es, and we will reply within one month, which may be extended by two further months for complex or numerous requests. Where there are reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you for the additional information needed to confirm it. Novamedia Sistemas does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos — www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing of your personal data does not comply with the applicable legislation.
Security
Novamedia Sistemas applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk of the processing, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR.
